I'm going to redo my 71 and wonder if the S/G is supposed to be black or yellow. I've seen examples both ways.

Was the wiring harness painted yellow too?
I am wondering how bad the rattle-can resto on my 102 was. I think I read somewhere that the harness was installed before paint ![]()

I've had plenty of tractors that still had the original wiring with no paint on it so I doubt that's true.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
