Default Dual hydraulic valve from John Deere 318
I think i've read something about this on here. Anyway green parts are cheaper than cub parts. I want to convert my 1650 to a dual stick of sorts. So I was wondering if I could adapt the 318 dual valve. Pretty sure it can be done. Just wanted to here what you guys had to say on the topic.

YUP, it can be done with some engineering, fabrication, modifications and some sweat.

Should be do-able. I used a 2 spool valve from a 317 JD when I added dual hydraulics to my 100. The nice thing about the JD valves is that they have float on one of the spools which is nice for the deck/ front blade/ 3-point lift.

You can also use a JD triple valve off a 400 and make a triple stick. I plan on doing that this fall.

You guys have got my wheels turning now. If I get the triple I could have lift for the box blade. Lift for my Johnny bucket jr, and dump for the bucket too. The possibilities!!

I've got a triple spool waiting it's turn too. Cub Cadet 2 spool valve....$200-$250. Deere triple spool..... $80 on e-bay (mine was anyway). Usually the triples go between $125-$150. No-brainer here. BTW, I think they are Parker spools just like on the CC tractors. I think the dual spools will bolt and plumb right in.

I can't remember exactly, but I paid less than $100 for mine too
