Just DON'T. Know?
![]() Does the 782 need a specific undercarriage to use so that a grass cutter can be attached? & Can a standard snow plow be attached? Or how about a q36 snow thrower? Granted these are a lot of questions but I'm ignorant in the workings of the reds? NIK, Eg; can a undercarriage from a 1250 or a 127 be used?

Nick,
The 782 will take any WF attachments. The front blade, or a QA snowthrower, 451 snowblower, but the mule drive needs to be one from the '82 series (what they called the "spread frame") or newer. Might need to adjust the length of the lift rods on the front attachments though, NBD. When they went to the twin cylinder, the mule drive changed a little. (We were debating the difference in the mule drives recently in another thread that I can't find.) The pulleys are in a different location for the spread frame tractors. All other attachments that came off the WF will work though, no problems. ![]() |

Good luck Nik! Maybe this one will "fall" into your lap better than the other one.
![]() If you get it, Patton would be a quick "go to" for an undercarraige. He would be for a deck, but shipping it would probably be killer. I don't know if you have a deck for your other tractor but you can but several different ones on the 782. ![]() |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
