Question 169 muffler dimensions?

I was wondering if anyone had dimensions on a 169 muffler. I have a lead on a guy that makes mufflers and he needs the dimensions for one and the fact that my 169 has the 10-14 hp muffler one it doesn't help. I do have the heat sheidl that holds the muffler and I know it lays level with it. I just thought I'd post this to see if any of you guys had any kind of dimensions to make one out of.

Picture help a lot.

Connor,

Something really important to note if your having one made, is the outlet. It is clocked in an odd position.

If you look, I set it as it would be in the tractor. The outlet is in about the 7:30 position. I had looked at Nelson mufflers, and that was the issue I ran into. That, and only that position will let the exhaust out without hitting the hood, or the front grille casting. All of the Nelson mufflers had it in different positions.

Hi! I'm new here and was happy to find this thread. I'm just starting to work on a 169 and was wondering if your guy ever made a muffler for a 169 after getting the dimensions? If so, would he make another and what would the price be? By the way, are you close to the Twin Cities? I'm in one of the NE suburbs.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
