Amen brother! I'm planning on pulling the plow and chains off the BX and getting back to working on the deck for the 1782. It's been a LONG winter.

Now Roland you know doing that just invites those last gasps of winter to visit you. Since I live east of you a few states that means I get it too. Maybe if we all do it at the same time it would confuse old man winter and he will go away.

I can remember a few years back when the farmers were in the fields planting sugar beets and corn on this date.

Default ....I feel your pain !

I grew up on the NY / Cn. boarder area ... chating with some old high school friends sounded like a late 70's kind of winter up north this year.
Even down south here we had our share !
I do however have my mower mounted and even knocked down some ah ...er ... weeds. Lawn is starting to green up here ... alot of rain and 70 this weekend.

Its around the corner you guys ! heading your way ....

B.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
