dad's86, Mstetar:
Hank Will's book is a good one and in the library. The title is in yellow as is the Cub Cadet 122 , but it's got a BLUE softback cover, not yellow. It's published by Hain Publishing Inc, The one with the Cub Cadet Yellow Dust Cover with a QL 1650 is "Original FARMALL Cub and Cub Cadet" by Kenneth Updike, is a hardback, and is published by MBI (Motor Books Inc). Note here that Kenneth Updike's earlier book "Farmall Cub and Cub Cadet has an IH RED dust cover, also a hardback and published by MBI. It's good, but the one with "Original" in the title and has the yellow dust cover is much better and more detailed on Cub Cadet info. I've got all three... and you can order them from any good book store with the above information. Myron B CCSupplyRoom |

Ouch! There's one listing on ebay for the yellow-covered one. $40. I think that's called "sticker shock". Once it's over, a lower price is a "deal". Have a great weekend, you guys. The South is getting all of Northern Maine's snow and I don't miss it a bit!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
