Question Manual lift

Is it possible to use a lift from a 129 on a 147 that had an electric lift?

I used the rock shaft from a 71 on a 147 that had a toasted electric lift. Easy swap.

You lost me.... you want to take a lift off a 129 and put it on a 147? Is that correct? No, that won't work..... This is where you lost me. Why do you need a 129 without a lift?

I read it as he has a lift from a 129, not the whole tractor. Since he can't use the 129 lift on the 147 he needs a 129 with no lift to use the his lift on....just an excuse to buy another cub.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
