Clutch bearing noise
I believe my clutch bearing is about shot. Here's why I think that, it squeals when it's not engaged. When I turn it on or if it has a belt on it it's fine. I need to know what's the process to replacing the bearing. I can't seem to find an article about a replacement on a 782 or 682. Is there a good/bad bearing to get/or stay away from? Thanks

i have replaced bearings on the quiet line ptos before but most people would probably find a used clutch to be an easier fix.
i believe all thats required it to remove the large bolt in the end of the crankshaft, pull outer half of clutch off, press or drive bearing out(there might be a snap ring behind bearing), and drive in new bearing. if i missed anything anybody please chime in!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
