Question 38gt mower deck retro
I have a 1979 Cub Cadet 1450 with a 38" 3 blade mower deck. I am looking at a 38GT mower deck that only has two blades and the deck housing is canted clockwise from the original. Does anyone know if the rear spring pins and front hangers are the same dimensions for the mule drive on these two decks? Also, would there be enough clearance for the right rear tire and the 38GTdeck? I am hoping that someone has tried to do this with a similar combo.

I have read many posts on this site and gained a lot. This is my first time posting.

38gt deck wont with out mods fit on your 1450 as its hangers and lift wont lift high the later tractors that was designed for was higher floor to bottom of tractor and the mower hanger is just for the that style of deck 38 42 46 nothing else

I think you would be better off getting the correct deck(s) for your 1450.

Thanks for the info. I noticed when changing over to snow thrower for the winter that the deck has some holes in it. I will keep looking for the correct deck to replace.
