Default Whats my 1811 worth?

I'm considering selling my 1811, it puffs smoke but still useable. Plan on rebuilding sooner rather then later. The seat is good, The paint is good, The sheet metal is all good, good tires (front foam filled) included would be a QA blower, a front blade, a good deck, a extra deck shell, extra deck parts, a extra motor (runs) extra motor parts, and a rolling chassis with many extra parts on it. I just wanted to get a good idea from you guys what it would be worth if I decided to sell The cub pictured for my avatar is the one I'm thinking of selling or theres pictures in my album.

If we say it's worth X amount and you think it's worth 2 times X how much are you going to ask? What do you have to get for it to feel comfortable selling it? Then find someone that's willing to pay that for it.

My opinion, I don't think you've had a reasonable offer, yet.

Thank you Sam. I also wonder because the older cubs and attachments are so rare around here how that affects prices. I have had to drive to Madison Wi. to get my cubs, 6-7 hour round trip and had to pay top dollar because if you want something bad enough you have to be willing to pay.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
