I hope some one can send me in the right direction because I'm lost. I pulled the cub into the garage today to do some cleaning and maintenance when I was done I went the start it and nothing happens. I checked the solenoid to confirm weather or not it was getting 12volts, nothing. I figured I knocked a wire loose for one of the safety switches but couldn't find any loose wires I checked the fuse its good. I tried a different switch for the foot pedal but that didn't help. I checked the switches under the seat neither of them has 12 volts coming to them. With the key one the oil light is on (the oil is full) when I turn the key to start the light goes out and I hear a click come from the oil sentry system. I don't have a schematic so I'm not sure where I need to check next any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the PTO switch.

Here is a 1863 Start Circuit Diagram. With a DVM or VOM you should be able to trace down your problem..........

I think the clicking you are hearing is the fuel shutdown solenoid on the carb.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the lug on the ignition switch. It was connected but had built up enough crud to not let any current get through to the safety switches.

Ok back in the saddle again there was a loose connection on the brake switch the term was pushing out of the connector block. The print and your advise helped a lot. I always thought the seat switch was part of the start circuit but according to the print no, so happy I took apart the seat to get to them before I had the print
