Default Anyone ever use one of those little 4 Wheel garden carts
I got one with 2 bad wheels for free from work. New wheels will be $12. From Harbor freight. I plan to build a larger Wooden box on top of it (30*48*16) and see how it does. Its rated at 700 lbs and has the handle that converts to a tractor hitch. I'll take pics along the way.

This is what I'm starting with.

Your pic just reminded me I have a yellow cart like this or wagon that tilts, dumps, it holds water, etc. Hmm... I think its behind my shed loaded with Grand Prix car parts - headlights, dash parts, and other things I should have disposed of by now.

Prior to this I use and abused it on a regular basis, and it never failed us.

Yep have one just like it. Had to wrap duct tape around the joints in the 2 piece rims to keep the tubes from having issues but other than that it seems to be worth the $$$. We use it to haul a small sprayer around.

I added on solid sides to mine to haul dirt if I want. Used it last to spread pete moss on the new grass seed. Rubbed the moss thru to bottom to break it up, rolled around to different areas as I went to spread the moss. Hauls wood a few heavy items from time to time as well.

Need to add. Side to side strength is a concern. Works well when load is centered. Flex in the frame with side load on the front causes trouble.

Ha i used it to pull wood around with and it was the 1000 lbs rated one already had to reweld the front and rear axles and replace bearings basicly i haave mothballed it in an outdoor building and bought a real trailer and cut it down to a 3 1/2 wide by 5 ft long.. for free though beef it up and buy better wheel bearings when they come out!!!
