Default Check out this sweet, "original" Cub 129

Surfin' good ole Craigslist and saw this beauty that's show quality, in superb condition and none like it. That's no joke.

Everyone has a different definition of "restored".

Not mine and if it's someone's on here, I apologize but for $2300, geez.

Well... Since "Even the motor has had a valve job" that's what really makes all the difference.

Saw this too, he's been reposting it for a while. Looks nice under the hood, but that paint job

Edit: On top of that, talk about stick shock $2,300!!! I've got 3 Cubs (worth speaking of) that may not cosmetically be the greatest, but mechanically are sound and I didn't come close to paying that for all of what I've got hahah

Don't ads like that make you want to send the seller an e-mail just to tell them how out of their mind they are?!?!?

Yep,
Everytime I see it listed, I wanna email and offer him $230 since he accidentally put an extra "0" on his price. Bet that would go over well...........

When I see ads like that, I really try to convince myself that the guys wife has told him he has to sell it, so he puts up an ad like that so no none will buy it.

My ex was like that, if she thought I didn't need it, she wanted it sold or otherwise gotten rid of! Boy, was she surprised when she learned what I was keeping and what I was getting rid of.

Unhappy

I don't understand having a old hippy-movement, Tradesman van painted on the nose cone. Nice tractor, but a little too personalized for my taste, and therefor would not justify that asking price. The 6 pad seat makes for a nice ride. What is it, a sticker scheme? A scheme of rattle snake hide, maybe....

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
