We picked up a dump trailer today for $40. We had a great time, hooking it on, testing the dump feature. It's a little rough, but it will work for playing with.
As per usual, we always shut off the fuel. Hope you all enjoy the pictures. |

Thank you
My dad had a 71 I think from what I can remember, before the Snapper rider. Then I bought a 72 when I was 14 to mow all the yards I did. The 72 was the best mowing mower I ever had. No yard (or mower deck) now, but fun to play. It is hard to find much Cub Cadet stuff here in Arizona.

That's really NEAT!! My dad used to pull us around in a trailer and now you have some grandkids in tow. Our local cub dealer made his own "train" that he pulls during parades. He used the 55 gallon plastic barrels on their sides, with cut outs and seats built into them and then placed on wheels, all hooked up in tandem. Great ride for the little ones. Nice looking cub and super deal on the trailer, but the grandchild steals the show away for this thread---especially checking the fuel shut off! Thanks for sharing your photos...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
