782 Power steering conversion
I have all the main parts. Cylinder and mount bracket installed. Ordered and received the 82 series power steering valve mount bracket from xtreme. All that I need to complete is plumbing. Convert a tilt back to a rigid mount but have the parts and and the wherewith all to make that happen.
My question is it looks like I need to cut out the manual steering cross member in order for this to work. Will this week in the frame structure too much. I am mounting a 450 blower and have driven with the blower mounted and does have some weight with the blower lifted. Hence the Power Steering. The PS bracket look like it should bolt to the two hole to the far right of the first picture. Picture of the mount bracket on the tire is upside down based on the manuals I have seen. All input is welcome, both the good and the bad. A picture of a frame that has power steering would be great as well. Thanks in advance.

All ready replace the axle and spindles with the one's from the same donor tractor that the hydraulic parts came from.

I have seen the thread but it still does not answer my question. I will look into it with more detail. maybe I can cut a slot in the PS bracket as opposed to cutting out the crossmember.
On first impressions it looks like that the crossmember is total in the road for mounting the PS bracket. It needs much more study.  I will post any info that i fine. thanks

New mount system
I have come up with a new mount system, On CAD at this stage. The bracket with spacer will be a lot less complete to bend then the side frame mount, plus you can go back to manual steering if required.
Can someone give me the length from top of the valve to the top of the tube. The unit I have is from a tilt steering system. I will make the steering shaft from older parts. Red piece is the frame cross member. Yellow is the new mount bracket. Black is the standoff. The green for the mock up of the valve. The last one is showing the drive shaft location I hope. All input welcome.

I have looked at the parts blowouts, and the power steering tractors have the brace on the frame. I have never converted one, but I believe the brace was there on all tractors. The pump mounting bracket you bought was designed to bolt to the frame. I think, you are getting ahead of yourself. Why don't you just try to install it, before you go making a new bracket. The one that inspectorudy did, he said nothing about having to change anything. MattG even stated in that thread that the frame is the same on a SGT and a GT in that area. I think I'd try it first.

In order to mount the "xtreme" bracket I would need to cut out the crossmember that the manual steering is bolted to or modify the bracket that I got from xtreme.
Maybe I need to take better pic's to show what I mean. The last pic is to show why I need the tub length.

superimposed Manual steering into the CAD muck up.
