Hydro Fan
 Has anyone ever installed the Hydro Cooling Fan used on the 82 series tractors onto the drive line of the Q/L tractors ? I realize that a mounting hole would have to be drilled if this can be done. On the surface, it seems the Fan from the 82 series would be better than that cheezy way that the Q/L fans are held on, with that snap ring.

The drive shafts are the same, it should be easy. I didn't have any problem drilling mine yesterday. Just keep it back as far as you can so the lift ram won't hit it.
A 3/16" drill bit and a bolt and nylock nut work perfectly.
