'62 Original w/gas in oil bath filter
After carburetor rebuild and new fuel lines the tractor has been running real well around the property for the last few weeks. After sitting the last 2 days, the garage reeked of gas and after checking all the lines and the carb and not finding any obvious leaks, I took off the oil bath air cleaner and it was pretty full of gas. Any ideas of why all of a sudden? Thanks.

I don't have an "O" but if gas is leaking from the carb (and, presumably is running down into the oil bath air filter sump) I'd first suspect that the float is stuck (or has a hole in it) and is not floating up when the carb bowl fills, and not closing the fill valve. Gas continues to flow, overflowing the carb, and draining into the oil bath filter sump.
Pull the carb and check the bowl, make sure the float still "floats" and the fill valve is not stuck. Sometimes all it takes is a small piece of trash getting caught in the fill valve, preventing it from closing, thus flooding the carb.

I agree with Sawdustdad. Either the float has a hole, is stuck or dirt in the carb at the shutoff valve.
