I just bought a cub cadet 124 that has sat in a barn for a year & a half. The tractor is all there & original, it was owners fathers since new. Previous owner put hydraulic system on that works great so no manual lift needed to raise & lower tiller. Along with the tractor came a model 1 tiller with gearbox & all belts. Tines are in like new shape and has 1 extension and no welds and no excessive play in gearbox. The bundle also included a 10" brinly one bottom moldboard plow, extra mule drive for tractor, snow blade & a front sickle bar mower that is in great shape & not froze up. I dont know if front sickle bar mower goes on tractor or not, havnt had time to check. Sickle bar mower also came with belt to run it. Tractor is a 1968 model and I paid $225 for everything.

Great deal! The tiller alone is worth more than you paid for the whole package.
That sickle bar mower is not made for a Cub. The pulley would need to be in-line with the drive shaft and not sideways. That would probably work on my Roto Hoe tiller if you're looking to get rid of it. They made one to fit them but I've not been able to even find a pic of one.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
