Default Hydro valve rebuild

Guys

Just had 4 hydro valves rebuilt by Machtech Direct AKA timarca
605 Furnace Rd.
Conneaut Ohio 44030
Phone: 440-499-5813
Email: mark.machtech@gmail.com

His E-Bay name is timarca and this is his add
$35.00 each plus $4.95 shipping ($4.95 flat rate regardless of amount)
That's both valves rebuilt for only $74.95

I sent him 4 valves on the 1st and get them back on the 6th He also returned the old parts not that I needed to see them. Anyway my plan is to put these in my 2182 and 2284 and send him 4 more to do. He also makes rebuildable valves. Check his web site http://www.machtechdirect.com/valves.html
I'll let you guys know how they work but I don't expect any issues.

Sweet! So far I have not had any issues with valves, but I have probably just jinxed myself.

Thanks for the heads up Sam. I am in need of at least 2 for rebuild and was wondering about his work (now we know).

Just a quick follow up. So far I have 6 of the 8 that he has done for me installed and no problems. Next on my list for him is a set of the manual style in a JD and that should do it for me for a while. Mark also let me know that he will have the rebuildable valves back in stock and they will be made from stainless, sounds pretty cool!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
