The quality of the Deestone tires is fine I think. They just seem to run a little smaller than you'd expect compared to the Carlisle tru power ags. but, they cost much less. I guess i'd decide based on this--do you want them for the look? Deestone. For the max tire size? Trupowers.

I've tried emailing tire sales houses for "actual " dimensions but the only responces I get are from the "book" Book specs say 23.3 tall and 9.8 wide.
I've heard these run smaller ... I'm trying to confirm actual size as I need a pair that won't interfere with my mower deck. Anybody out there have a set of these running that wouldn't mind giving me actual height and width. Sure would be appreciated ![]() Bryan this is size and tire 23X10.5-12 Deestone 4P Super Lug Tires DS5245 |

I've never measured them but I have a pair of Deestone 23X10.50-12's on the back of one of my Originals, they just don't look nearly as tall or wide as you would think they would.

IMHO they are a great low price tire, I have a set of 23x8.5-12 on my 123 and 106, they work great if you don't mind that they look a little smaller.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
