Those who love the old Cub Cadets like I do were probably also born in the wrong era.

Find your favorite ad in this magazine, I am very interested in the water powered turbo grinder on page 272 for $8.95

Or how about the rotary mower at the bottom of page 257 for $12.50??

Which ad is your favorite or would you like to purchase?

There are some neat ads in there,I like the super charged welder page 275 along with the ddt flea powder and the blue-ray night driving light! Or the lawn mower on page 284 looks like alot of fun!..lol Thanks for sharing!

I was born in the late 50's, and have fond memories of reading my Dad's Popular Mechanics, and seeing many of those same ads.

The offerings may seem inexpensive, but keep in mind the minimum wage was .40 cents an hour. Average salary was $1,299 per year.

very true. i was born in 1982!

my tractor is a 1940 farmall H

My Cubs are from 1965-1981

My favorite car was built in 1968

My refrigerator is a 1954 IH

My freezer is a 1948 IH

My truck is a 1994 chevy and i wish i could find an older one that i could afford!


So yes i was for sure born in the wrong era.

but i do have an iPhone and love it lol
