Looks like you got a fair amount of snow. The Cub did good work!

How's it do without chains or extra weight? Even with chains and weight, my 149 was slipping a bit pushing about a foot of snow last night.

That's awesome. Pics are the best, especially the big ones.

I'm also intrigued as to how it performed without chains/weight. Mine was slipping like crazy with the 4 inches we got the other day, and that's with chains.

I get the extra weight but what about grip?! I dont have the weight in my rear but I do have the grip (chains). I would think that the grip is more important then the weight. Those are some great shots of the cub though!

They spin alil bt have yet to get stuck. I pushed banks about 4 feet tall. Nxt year i want chains bt i just bought this tractor about 2 months ago so its kinda my play tractor. I have a walk behind cub snow thrower when the cub has a hard time. Only used the walk behind once this year and that was the storm before i purchased this ol cub

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
