Well Ive put alot of thought into it since my 1200 hasnt been bought yet (prolly wont ever be) im gonna turn it into a pull tractor, but i have no clue where to start. The motor needs rebuilding again (smokes a bit). other than tht im clueless to even begin, i do a MWSC book...but thts it...so any input from yall wuld be great...id like to try and start pulling this spring if i can get it fixed by then. i do have a few options i can go with...i have access to a Onan motor tht runs versus the 12 hp kohler. but idk where to begin tho, not trying to go extreme, just in a stock type class or watever.

As for the classes near you BigB87, I would just rebuild the 12hp, find you some used Carlisle or Firestone 26x12x12 pulling tires, get you some wheely bars from, mwsc and make you some weight bars and give it a try, we will all help you on things you have questions about, Your buddy Pop will help you also, it won't happen overnite, it will take some time to get it balanced right. But you will enjoy it, I promise

I would start out with the 12hp you can get some good performance from them and don't have to spend a ton of money on them. Need to know what the club rules are where you are but if I can see the rules I am willing to help you with advise anyway I can. Been pulling 20+ years and worked on them professionally for 27 years.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
