I'm looking to put a loader on my 2082 or 1772. Does anybody know of a company that still makes the attachment. I started this with the idea of using a Kwik-way model L front loader, have the pump, arms, rams, and bucket, but no sub-frame. However, I have decided that I would prefer a loader on one of my Supers, after all they have powersteering and a larger front axle. So the model L might be for sale. But, right now I'm just looking to buy a complete setup, reason being I'm not a welder.
Thanks, |

I'm pretty sure Kwik-way still makes loaders. I think I remeber this popping up on the forum a year or two ago. IIRC a new loader that would fit your SGT would run $2-3000.
Here ya go: http://kwmanufacturing.com/

HI Josh,
I contacted Kwik-way last week, the owner said they have stopped making the loader. So my search continues. Thanks, Dan |

TractorDan,
Sorry, I didn't know they had quit making 'em. Must not have been cost effective to make them anymore, especially when there are alot of nice used ones still available................... Hope you're able to find something. ![]()

You want to find model numbers 45-02541 or 45-18711 or make a new sub frame to mount a L to it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
