Okay, I got the right pin from local IH, checked the numbers, but for the life of me I just can't drive that thing home. Scared I'm going to miss and hit the pully. I had a nut and bolt in there temporarily but didn't want that breaking while mowing down a big hill.
I got the holes lined up thru the driveshaft, but that pin just won't go thru. Thanks for any advice, I'm sure its something easy I'm overlooking (least I hope it is) |

It actually isn`t a roll pin its a solid pin but, any ways the easiest trick i know is to put it in the freezer for a little while then get it drove down in there while its still cold.

Thank you sir, that worked
But I have a bigger problem. It thru it out after 20 minutes so I put a bolt thru and it broke that. Guess I need to change the pulley out at the motor. Is that an easy job? |

PTO belt must be removed.Unbolt the 4 bolts holding the coupler,then the 4 bolts holding the motor,slide motor forward.easy as pie.

If you have a air compressor, you might want to try using a air hammer. I bought one at Big lots a couple of years ago for under $15 and it works awesome for coiled spring pins. I assume it would work great for your application too.
