As far as the pictures go I use a 3rd party site like photobucket or flikr that way I can upload the pictures there and just link to them wherever I want them, on this forum or in email, etc.

The site wouldn't let you upload them because they were too big.

Looks like the mounting frame from a QA snowthrower, less the actual thrower itself with some mods done to it for a possible front blade add on.
BTW,
Nice 129!

I thought the exact same thing....Seems like a lot of extra work to get a blade to work, unless it was a different brand blade?

That's going to be pretty hard on the tractor. A snowblade really needs to have some supports going to the rear of the tractor like the correct subframe does.

Don't scrap it, I think this is a good design! No, not as heavy as the original sub-frame, but looks like it would be easier to put on. If your just pushing snow, why won't it work?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
