Go-Kart Out of 2000 series?
My wife's little brother was so excited because he was given a beat up early 2135, as would I. Within 20 minutes, we had it running. Upon my asking what he was going to do with it (since it didn't have a deck), he said he wants to try to make a go-kart out of it. Of course, he asked me how it could be done. Me not knowing how the hydro transmission could be used, is now on here.
He may be young, but he is very "hands-on" and believes in the adage "where there is a will, there is a way." For instance, he made our brother-in-law a motorized bicycle using a weed eater engine. He fabbed everything himself and it runs and operates great. So I do not doubt his will or his ability. I am just not so sure a 2000 series is the best candidate. Any help or suggestions would be greatly apprecaited. Thanks!

Ive been wanting to build a rat rod go cart out of a mower and my research shows the belt drive tractors are the easiest and cheapest to convert. A quick pulley/belt change will really effect the speed. I havent found any info on using hydros however I would assume you could re gear the rear end to give more speed.If you find info on hydros I would be interested also.
