Default "O"s with lights

Is there a original part for a on/off switch for the lights? If there isn't, how did you do your switch if you have one.

For the NF's there is a light switch. Here's a pic of some I sold last year.

Sorry no more for sale.

From my understanding, the wiring diagram had them mounted kind of under the battery box on the driver's LHS, but toward the engine.

From the file server. It's the direct download.

I just drilled my holes a couple of days ago. I had to zoom the pdf to see where I needed to drill the holes. I drilled 3 castings and 2 dash towers and had no problems. On the grills I located the top hole and clamped the light bracket on the grill and used that to line up the bottom hole. That way I knew the hole were in the right place for the brackets.

That would make it the only cub with them mounted on the right side. I guess that it depends on the serial number on location of the switch.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
