A guy is selling a plow but doesnt know if its a narrow frame or wide. He said the measurements of the frame are 10 1/4". Does anyone know if this is a narrow or wide frame plow?

it will fit both. all you need to know is if it a sleeve hitch or 3 point.

CubNub,
Sorry I have to ask, is this a front blade snow type plow or a moldboard garden plow? If a front plow then: If the forks coming back under the tractor are same width it would be for a NF. If the forks narrow as they come under the tractor it is for a WF. If it's a moldboard it should fit both as Doug mentioned. Again pictures would be great. Regards, Chris

Chris is correct. That's a NF blade. If you have a WF, the sub frame is different. You'll need a WF sub frame.

Now that I have the blade does anyone have instructions or know how it goes on. I was toying with it for an hour or so and cant seem to line things up right. Does the subframe go on the inside of the frame foot pedals or the outside? When I put it to the outside it doesnt have enough clearance to click into the front of the frame. Im lost and cant seem to get it put together.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
