rebuild or not
I have a kohler k321 and I need to know if it's running good should I rebuild the engine or not I hate to wait for a noise or see smoke. It's 33 years old and I'm sure there has to be some wear. But I've always say if it's not broke don't fix it. But why wait right?

If there's nothing wrong with it, don't rebuild it. You rebuild and engine when it's down on power, smoking, burning tons of oil, etc. If the engine has been properly maintained, there's no reason it can't last that long....many of the Cubs I've had have had original, unrebuilt engines.
