Default Wiring Harness's

Who makes a good wiring harness for a cub. The only people that I have heard of is Porch Electric and a lot of negative feedback about them. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Kelly

Kelly, I've used one Porch wiring harness and have good things to say about it, but their prices hae went way up in the past 18 months since I bought mine.

I've heard Mike LaMar's are top notch! He is a member as well user name Mlamar. I've done some business with him and had great transactions.

I know this thread is older but rather than start a new one I just will chime in here.

I installed one of their harnesses in my 105 today and all I can say is WOW! These things are great. All the wire coloring was spot on and where the wires protruded from the wrap was perfect. Someone mentioned they heard negative feedback about them, this is NOT the case here. I could not have built this better myself.

I got mine new off Ebay at a discounted price from what they sell it for off their website. Maybe keep and eye out there for a better price.

I've ordered 12 of Mike's wiring harness from him this year and all have been top notch and as good if not better then Porch's but at a better price point. Mike also labels all connectors and includes a wiring diagram to boot.

Kelly

Did you meet Mike at the Registry plow day? I thought he was there the time I was there with you. His stuff is real nice. I know one year he gave a few away as door prizes.

Mike does not make wiring harnesses for smokers is the problem. At least last year he didn't. I acquired a wiring diagram from Roland and figured out the issues. Everything is good in smoker land.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
