Default Wife surprises me again!

She snag this one this weekend at a local auction....Great shape and runs smooth....

Just need to get some decals on the deck....

Can anyone tell me anout the Kohler??? and the stamp on the rear?? I looked for a serial number but didnt see one in view...

The 7 hp will take getting used to since I normally drive the Super....But the grandkids sure love it...

The cardboard box contains the IHS331 weights from Steiner also pick up some Cub 75lbs for CHEAP!!!! Still in the boxes

They had a Danco sp?? front loader, power rake, Q42 snow plow, nice IH plow, weight bracket, suitcse weights, and brand new single bottom plow....A 125 and a 1450 that were all in pretty good shape....

How to find serial number:
http://cubfaq.com/serialnumbers.html

That is a great looking tractor. That is the same motor I am working on now for my nephews model 73. You will find a lot of videos with that motor pulling a moldboard plow pretty easy. I would say an 8 inch might work best.

Great score! If your wife was really good she would have gotten you all of the cub stuff for sale! The Danco's are sweet little loaders.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
