Headlight bezel on 1450
Do any of you know if that's aluminum or that pot metal? Mine is cracked, was going to try JB weld on it. If it's aluminum I would take it to a shop (but I'm sure we aren't that lucky)

If you're talking about the round, black things that the headlights are mounted in, those are rubber.
Or are you talking about the nosepiece that the hood is connected to? If so, that's aluminum and could probably be welded by someone with a TIG welder.

Yea, the piece around the headlights.....in front of the tin on the hood.

I would JB Weld it, a lot less after weld body work. No concern about thermal distortion.
If there is room inside in a "hidden" area, add a piece of steel JB'ed in place across the joint and it will be stronger than new!! And it is CHEAP!!

I am pretty sure it is aluminum, I have one a PO has welded where it cracked, looks to be aluminum to me.
