Talking Got a 72 today!!!!

Oh ya, one more cub to go, the 70. All I need is a model 70 and I have all the 7hp round fender cubs!! Still would like to find a nice 100 someday. This little beauty is a one owner and Loaded. Headlights, rear grote, IH weightbox(full of cast iron plugs),creeper and fenders Has a custom leather seat cover, looked at the seat pan underneath and it's wasted. Tires are in good shape and it mowed a lawn 2 days ago and did a great job! I got it in NH and that's where the dealer decal is from on it. Runs awesome, no smoke at all and this tractor has never been apart or molested, I'm feeling way lucky as the price was unbelievable too Will clean it up and take some better pics tomorrow, supposed to be in the low 70's and sunny!

Way to go Jude!!! You must have been good for that kind of karma. Why so much weight if it was for mowing? Did they use it for winter work as well? Sounds like a great tractor and a great motor too, nice options as well. If you find you have too many round fender models or you need to thin the herd you can always give me a call. I feel like a poor man with only a 102 in my stable. Sounds like you have a nice "rounded" collection.

Max, thanks bud! Those cast iron "pop drops" must weigh 200#'s plus!! Nope, it was only used for mowing and was always covered. I did pop a wheelie driving it up the guys lawn, not intentionally. The sides of the weightbox are a little bowed from all the weight. Pic below of the pop drops, wonder what they came from?? Must be a 1000 of them in that box! I'll hit ya up if I need to lighten the load, you could use a round fender cub anyway. You might only have one cub but, it sure is a nice one

Lew, lol. I forgot about pull starts! I'm more concerned with finding an M&W Does look like a box full of worms

Jason, you still have the 70?? Thought that was long gone! We may have to work out a deal on that

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
