Default 147 starter generator belt size?

I thought it was 3/8" x 31" but that is to small. I did a search and cant find anything on what size it should be. Does anybody know? Thanks!

Thanks MOturkE!

I did find one at TSC for $4.29. Its 3/8" by 32" -3L320. It was cheap, looks cheap and hope it will work a while. If I have a problem with it I will report back. Thanks!

I know this is an old thread, but how did this belt work for you? I can’t seem to find a 3/8 x 31 11/16 anywhere.

(A) The OP hasn't checked in since Aug 2017.

That is because it is an OEM belt. Aftermarket belts will round up to 32"

All belts eventually wear out beyond adjustment. That's why you replace them.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
