Default 2 new to me cubs--and added on to the tiller

First off, I got in good with the wife Saturday went scraping booking with her. Hey a guys gotta do what he gotta do to keep getting Cubs. Put the left ext on today the 102 did good so I might add on another tine too both sides

Picked up a 104 Thursday from my friends Cub salvage yard. And I am the 2nd owner the first owner passed away 19 years ago and this has been setting in a barn since then, new points a battery and a tank of gas and she was running

Lorenzo was pulling my niece in the wagon and she took a nap as she was being pulled . She does not have a dad so she adopted me as her Daddy

Two weeks ago I picked up a 122 with creeper from the Cub salvage yard he told me that the guy he got it from said it ran good . well got it home put a battery in it and it rolled over good too good would not start so checked the plug it fired put gas in plug hole , would not start took plug out and no compression. So I put a screw driver in plug hole and it went in 2 inches and hit the piston ,tore it apart and rod was in 20 pieces broken block to boot. So called him up and told him motor was junk, he said to give him a week and he would find me another motor. He called me Wednesday and told me to come get the motor. When I got there was a rebuilt short block for me, and at no cost to me because I send him people for cubs and parts and other tractors and I buy a lot from him. Here is a pic with it plowing

camarokidz28,

Clean looking tractors. Those purple wheels are just a little darker than the color of my bike. Which is a 1980 Cuda purple.

Yeah, That should have been 1970. So are you a painter of a Cuda Freak?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
