Take a look. I was wanting a tiller for my 100. I do not have the creeper yet, but I found this on craigs list.

That looks like a really nice tiller. Has one extension on it. Would be great for the 100.

Not very familiar with the tillers, tell me about the extension. Is it worth what he is asking?

Here is a manual for a 1A tiller. http://ccmanuals.info/pdf/1A%20Tille...s%20Manual.pdf
It can answer some questions for you.
As for worth, that all depends on the area and if someone 'really' wants the item. For me and my area, that would be a great price in that condition. I paid right at $300 for one that was the same, but rusted all over and the gear box was leaking from the bottom seal.

That's a forum members tiller. Jarhead aka Mike and I wanted to buy it last year but was working a ton of hours and days and just didn't take the time to drive to Atl. to buy it. I think it's in great shape and I think Mike has it priced right. Mike's a great guy and you'll enjoy talking to him.

Good luck!

Show her some youtube videos of tillers in action. They do a great job and are well worth the money and they make gardening so much easier!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
