Default New to me 2082

I picked this one up today, the wiring harness is toast but the engine seems fine .It came with the 60'' Haban deck and a 451 snowblower .I'll get a look at it over the next few days and see how it goes.Thought since I like pics I would put a few up, more to come as I see what the harness looks like .

Those cyclops do look nice. Real aggressive stance, bad to the bone.

I still want to find a good harness for it, but could not stand to see it sit there and not running.I took some time and spliced some new wire into it and started it up and drove it around the yard a little. Now that I have heard it run and am sure it moves I will spend some time cleaning it and the deck up .Seems like many others the hood and side covers and grill are a cracked mess just one more thing to add to the growing list.Once again thanks for the nice coments.

Bob

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
