67Hydro: Roland guesses pretty good..It's definitely one of the 70/100 series. Did you also note the 90* gear box for a tiller on the rear??? In addition to that loader, there's probably an IH Model 1A rotary tiller around there somewhere... If so, get it too...

Cool deal!
That is a 10 hp gas tank, the 7 hp ones were small and rounded like your 70. The engine also looks too big to be a 7 hp. It would appear that someone has done some Mickey Mouse work to the seat mounting area and to the 3 point, not that big of a deal though. The loader arms and the rounded brackets on them (I'm guessing that the ends of the lift cylinders attach there) look better than something that someone cobbled together, though there should be more to it than just what is pictured. It also appears to have a creeper gear... That is a BIG plus. MBounds, may be right about a tiller laying around somewhere, with a creeper and the tiller gear box being there, all indications say that it tilled at one time. I would try to find out what all he does have, if he has most of everything you would need to put it together (loader and tiller) even not knowing anything about the motor it would be worth the money. I didn't see any cylinders in the pictures, try to get them if possible, even if they aren't any good, at least you will have an idea of what you need to replace them. Hope he has it all for you. Good luck |

Thanks guys
The guy is going over to take a couple more shots for me tonight, see if the whole loader is there and check on the tiller. I have three tractors Im going to sell that i just picked up,not cubs, and use that money for this one. I belive at least a couple of the cylinders are there but not sure if they all are.I realy want to buy it for the options creeper ect plus if it is a 100 id like a big bro for the 70.Looks like it had lights at one time and the fenders.Cant tell if the bottom brackets are on the fenders but I can make them in the metal shop at work. Here is a coupl mor shots of stuff!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I got the jim dandy to run,its a strong runner, although id like to have the 14 horse kohler for my 123 project its gonna go. just got to rebuild the bobbette carb,it runs on ether but no gas is getting through and ill sell that one with its parts brother!!Hopefully Ill make enough to get this one. I know this is an old post, but I was just looking back over old stuff for new information (new to me). Just wondering, did you buy the tractor, loader, etc? Looks like a plenty good deal to me. That dual-spool hydraulic controller valve in the parts bucket is probably almost worth what he's asking for the whole deal.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
