OK Guys
I might have a chance to get a 1450. It looks in good shape, its missing the side panels, and has a bad seat. He said he will take trade in on older mowers. Do you think a Huskee LE 18hp 46 in" cut is a good deal |

Way too little information to give you much to go on.
What will you be using them for? Does the Huskee currently do what you want it to do because a 35 year old Cub may not without a lot of work? You need to think about this because the grass won't wait while you are searching for parts for the Cub. Give us a little more and we can help you out.

The Huskee is what I use to cut grass with but I have a Cub 129 I can mow with no bigee there im looking for another cub that i can use some more of my attachments with and allso the 1450 is also ready to cut with he said I have a moldboard snowerblower 54" snow/dozer blade and looking for a tiller and grader blade. The Huskee has been stored in the shed no rust at all that's why do you think it would be a good trade?

That would be a no-brainer for me...the Huskee might last what 5-8 years, and the Cub has already made it 30+ Your looking to trade a light duty lawn tractor in good shape for heavy duty garden tractor in good shape....I know what I would do

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
