Still fine tuning the 917, had the steering tore apart the other day for major cleaning and greasing, have to do the same yet with the hydro controls.... drive lever is sticky and the lift one is just sloppy. Have a tiller and cultivator lined up for it, both complete with all the mounting hardware, the tiller is a unique setup but the cultivator is a basic sleeve hitch. Thought I had a parts tractor line up also but it turned out to be an older B-10 model.... $50 as a trade-in so I got it now also.

Got the tiller and cultivator home last weekend, both are complete with mounting hardware as promised. I'll just need a belt and tension spring for the tiller, cultivator is rusty but ready to dig.

Another interesting little tractor landed here today... 1966 Case 150, runs and drives but didnt include any attachments, I have a couple snow blades that might be workable. The POs kids got a little creative with some paint work but I think most of that will come off with just a pressuring.

Thx, I took it in on trade for an STX38 with wiring issues. Without any OEM attachments the 150 probably isnt worth selling so it might stay around for here for awhile. In low range its slow enough I can let the g-kids drive it so I'll set it up to pull the firewood wagon before they visit for thanksgiving, and I'll leave the flames on it at least until then. It might just end up part of the fleet

Actually I just found that the Case I just picked up also has a left side discharge on those decks so its not as uncommon as I thought... but I still prefer it right side.

The AC is very nearly done now, tested everything except the snowblower, all the controls are working like new and it drives/steers nice. Its a very nice tractor to use and a very strong puller. I dont care much for any hand controlled hydro tractors but I would be tempted to keep it if I didnt need cash to work on the Cockshutt. Lol

I did pretty well on the AC917, sold for $1400 plus a JD165 trade in, it runs and cuts but needs some cleanup.

This week Im trying to sort out a Kubota F2000, its rough but I have gotten the 3cyl diesel running, the deck is rusty but in working order, hydrolics are still questionable because some oil lines and linkages are off of it and no fluid in it, if it turns out to have tranny issues I might just keep the engine and part out whats left.

Kubota is looking promising, bought one $45 part so far and reinstalled several other pieces that came with it, its still rough but it runs and drives, 4 wheel drive and all hydraulics are working. One of the lift arms for the deck needs repair so I dont have the deck on yet but it appears to be in working order. Havent come across any logical reason for it to have been left for dead in a pasture but it seems like it can be brought back into service.

Looks like you have a good eye there Lance. I love Alberta. Used to go up there and Black Bear hunt every fall. I always said if I had to move, it would be in Northern Canada. White Tails in Saskatchewan every winter, and I loved it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
