You are in deep when you have both yellow disease and jeep addictions. Welcome to the dark side.  At least ya got a good one to start with. I have yet to find a 1650 I could afford. I do have a couple of 1450's and enough parts to convert one into a 1650. (This is someone you probably know as F Bill from somewhere else....lol) BTW probably a 44 inch deck, should have a small aluminum tag on it somewhere with a number on it. You are missing a part on your mule drive for tensioning the drive belt ...it goes in that slot, and that is probably why the tension bolt is all the way tightened up. Don't toss the deck if you aren't using it, those things are getting expensive nowadays to fix and the parts alone are worth $$. Toss your floor jack under the front end and jack it up a little , pull the quick pins on teh back, and the deck will slide forward and out...it will make it easier to work on the rest. The mule drive comes off in a similar fashion. Lots easier than say, replacing a 2A master cylinder...
