Default Thanks CCO members

Many thanks everyone, for all the response and information on the right amt. of oil for a 149, the best plug and where to find all the manuals. Ya'll are not only informative on this site, but quite entertaining as well...some of you, just downright funny! Also, thanks Vince for the invite to plow days in SC. And Chip, "Cub149" ,I'll prolly get my Cub back Mon. or Tues. Glad to have a veteran CCO member just across town. Looking forward to letting a 149 pro offer tips and spot obvious adjustments needed for my '74 Yard Harley... Thanks again. You guys are awesome!

Talk about down right funny, calling me a pro I don't know much but I am learning as you are. Bring it by and I'll see if I can break something for you.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
