Thumbs up Almost there

Hallo All;
Guten Tac!
Well I have been working on my 147 for about a mounth and a half now.
I'm almost finished for now.
I'm not doing a show cub. I'll let you know that up front.
This will be for work. My 147 has a workhorse front end loader on it with weight bar. I have 400# of weight "Home made" nothing pretty. Pretty weights will come later.
I bought this at auction with wheebarrow wheels & tires on the front leaky gas line, Rust on the rust.ect.

I replaced: the front tires.
replaced the foot treads with diamond plate, covered the hole cut in the tunnel with torch with diamond plate.
rebuilt the steering.
worked on the trany,
worked on the fule sys.
fixed the govenor,
patched the hood, The ends where broke out so they drilled 4 big holes in each side put 1 1/2' flat iron on the inside so it would hit the gas tank, took all that off patched the holes fixed the loop where the hood fastens to the front casting.
added a paint job.
Put original tail tights on and fixed lighting sys., so the lights all come on when the light knob is pulled.
Replaced hydro oil in tanny and the loader.
Put rubber bumpers on the fenders to cushion the seat.
Gee I think I covered it all so far.
I need to pick up screws and gromments to secure the dash. oh yea they will be stainless steel.
I've added some pics I will put up more whe I get it outside.

ole 147,

She looks really nice. Nice paint job. My tractors are workers too. But I think I'm out of room for more. As I get them more and more finished I keep thinking of some nice paint. Except I can't paint. Good job.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
