Well we finally had time to play with the 1204. Got all the brake and clutch linkage changed the rear end is all buttned up, got the fenders strait and put back on. Changed the front spindle's and put the narrow front tires on for him. Now we're just waiting for some clutch parts to come in the mail. I have to find a three pin driver yet, but that should finish off the rear end swap. I still have to put a new throttle shaft and bushing in the carb and rebuild it but that's no big deal. Still have to order a seat cover and put that on for him, and an oil change is coming later tonight. Hopfully We'll get the rest done this week sometime and get to take it for a ride!!!

Thanks Allen. I forgot to put a picture of the front on here. He spent all kinds of time cleaning the grill and repainting the head light mesh. He wanted the CCC emblem on it because the red one's have the IH emblem. He's pretty proud of the front end. I think he did a bang up job on it.

That is a sweet 1204. You've done a great job with it as always. I still think I would love the narrow rims on the front of my 784.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
