Finally working the 147!
I bought my 147 in the fall shortly after moving into my house. It was stored all winter at my shop, because there was not enough room in the garage at the house to keep it there. Plus I have a plow on my atv so it is not needed for winter duty. I have been very busy at work all winter and spring (Thankfully), and have not had a chance to organize the garage so that I can bring the cub home. I have mowed the grass with the push mower 3 times, which I don't mind since it's good excerise. Well, this weekend I had a chance to finally get the garage whipped into shape, and tonight I woke the 147 from it's long sleep! I got it home and mowed the grass, and even started to mow the overgrown side yard that has been abandoned by it's owner. I have forgot how nice of a job the cubs do, and how powerful that 14hp is (I haven't worked a Cub since 1997 when my dad sold the old house). It was like stepping into a time machine, and it brought back good memories of my and my childhood, and grandparents (who have been gone for over 20 years now, and were the ones that had the original 147 that I grew up with). I had a smile on my face the whole time. I didn't get a pic of the yard, but will next time. Here are a few shots of mowing the side lot. I raised the deck all the way (so I didnt hit anything too big). I only made a few passes tonight, which will allow some more seat time later this week.

Great looking 147. Now that is what cubs can do on a daily basis, "work" hard and ask for more.
