I tilled up the garden last evening just to try to get the soil broken up a little since it finally dried out...just in time for 6 straight days of rain
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I had the 70 all tore down and cleaned her all up. I like the idea of the 'original condition' look, so I decided to put her back together. I'm kicking around the idea of selling her. After cleaning and rebuilding the carb, cleaning and lubing the governor, throttle and choke cables, she runs like new. Starts immediately and not a lick of smoke. It's making my decision hard. I'm going to finish disassembling the deck so I can get it in workable condition. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() ![]() How about a couple shots of that there garage you have.....is it divided so you have one side for car and the other for a work shop/Cub shop? I like the styling of the roof!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
