Thanks everyone, I'm pretty jacked up. TEET you were wondering about the $$$ tree, I'm still looking but I stopped at a gas station on the way home for a soda, and I noticed I spent less for the tractor than two cartons of name brand cigarettes, glad I gave up the smokes 25 years ago I'll get some numbers tomorrow when I pick it up. Don't know anything about the blower, but the deck looks hardly used. Yep, that white isn't the prettiest is it? Why paint it white?
I think I'm going to load everything down with P.B. and park it in the corner of the machine shed for now, to many other things going down, especially with spring coming.

Nice find. I was thinking the same thing as Nick. With the newer style deck, it should have the optional PTO which, along with the creeper, makes that a super nice O. Congrats on the find. You'll have to send some my way.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
