I bought and installed the billet aluminum mounts to replace my ISO rubber mounts when I rebuilt the engine in my 1450 and it shook so bad that I tore it back down again and put new rubber mounts in it. I don't know exactly why, but the old narrow frames (like my beloved 125) which are solid mounted do not have the vibration that Quiet Lines have. Maybe someone on here has the answer......

It's probably because the extra mounting stuff between the frame and engine reduced the rigidity of the system.

Whats up with the seat? Glad you y'all like it!

It smoked bad once...when I started it up the first time. There was a small, very small, amount of white smoke coming out. I was planning an oil change soon. But yeah I just noticed the stain on the blade. It looks fresh!

Thanks for all the comments.

Nathan trust me when I say check your oil. My 1200 stopped smoking because I smoked the oil out of it.

Something about seeing that thing smoke ticked me off so I fixed it well ok I fixed my spare but you get my point.

I am just curious why you guys like the seat? lol

FWIW...there are no cracks in it and looks almost new. The backing needs repainting and the arm rest mounts are a little rusty.

That seat is probably original...it's not common to find an original seat cover that isn't all messed up.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
