Default Hydro Question 149
I have read a lot of excellent information on this site on how it check for slack on the linkages and etc. My question is the damper plate on my tractor has a lot of slack looks like it is on a splined shaft and attaches with a snap ring. i have removed the tunnel cover and it doesn"t look easy to remove it. I am sure it is a lot of wealth of information on what procedure I need to do to remove these parts to replace them or shim them. Do I need to remove the fenders to gain access?

No you don't have to but it would be MUCH easier if you did.

Do I need to remove all the linkages where two slotted bolts are first?

They are way easier to work on if you pull the rear end and hydro out of the frame.
